Star Cruises, the leading cruise company in Asia, has placed another contract with Meyer Werft for a new cruise ship. This vessel will increase Star Cruises fleet to eight ships. The 151,300GT newbuilding with building number S. 712 is scheduled for delivery in fall 2017. The ship will be a sister ship to the ship ordered in October 2013 and will have a length of about 335,35 metres and cruise with than 3300 passengers in 1,680 cabins.The ship boasts a variety of restaurants, entertainment venues, casinos and a high number of high class suites which are specially designed for the Asian market. An exceptional level of service is provided by a crew of about 2,030.
